Payment at Dr. Villaro's Nephrology Practice — Valencia
Dr. Villaro works on a self-pay basis only. He does not work with insurers or accept private health insurance. Payment is made directly at the consultation.
Self-pay only — no insurance accepted
Dr. Villaro operates on a self-pay basis only. The practice is not contracted with any private health insurer, and insurance cards are not accepted as payment.
Payment is made directly at the time of the consultation — no prior authorisation, no insurer paperwork, no intermediaries.
Why self-pay?
This model allows Dr. Villaro to give each patient the time and attention they need, free from the administrative constraints and scheduling pressures imposed by insurance companies. The relationship is directly between patient and doctor.
What does the consultation include?
The consultation includes:
- A full review of your medical history and test results
- Physical examination
- Diagnostic assessment and follow-up plan
- A written report on request
If further tests are needed (kidney ultrasound, blood work, 24-hour urine collection), these are arranged through standard channels and explained to you before being ordered.
Can I claim back from my insurer?
Some private health insurance policies allow partial or full reimbursement for specialist consultations outside their provider network. The clinic can provide a detailed invoice for you to submit to your insurer if you choose, but we do not manage the reimbursement process or guarantee any coverage outcome.
Questions?
To ask about the consultation fee or anything else, contact the clinic by WhatsApp or phone before booking.
